I am glad i could afford to add this to my credentials in case my actions are questioned , our church leadership is resistant to preparing the safety ministry to handle violence if it comes to our flock, Hopefully having a record of professional training credentials will help us establish standards for the future.

As a senior (71) with past training National Rifle Association, military training & service in the USAF and being a child of God all helped lay a foundation. This basic course filled in reasoning, thought process for situational awareness, mindset practice based on Team work, integrity and being in full support of our ministry mission statement for our Church family, Pastor, Staff, and showing God's love as we are called to do. The lesson's helped bring to light many ways to make church safety matter as mission critical support if evil ever comes to cause us harm. We will continue to practice the lesson's learned within both course & church leadership and with our safety team, while we keep our focus on our ministry and in our community. The church liability risk requires each team member to take to heart the concepts taught us, use of force is not a first option, it is our last. Thank your team for giving this basic training , it is a good start. I will be seeking more advanced training in the future, job well done . Thank You.

This course was well thought out and well presented. Captain Puckett provided a useful 30,000 foot view of all the issues a church security team may run into, some thoughts on getting through them, and clear instruction to keep working on those issues (and others that may be unique to us) to continue to better our ministries.
